Why a contact sheet is an edit already

Marking frames on a contact sheet chooses the picture before any fine print exists.

When the purchase is complete, return to the original window. It will refresh.

From the opening

A contact sheet prints many frames at once, traditionally by laying the negatives against paper so each frame stays at the size of the film. It is already an edit, because marking some frames and leaving others unmarked is a selection made before any large print exists. The opening covers the whole roll, seen together, a mark is already a refusal, and work prints come after the circle.

The rest of the brief — the later sections and the reading notes — opens after Stripe confirms payment.
