Why power is not stored in the price

A low power price is a signal for an interval, not a stockpile of electricity.

When the purchase is complete, return to the original window. It will refresh.

From the opening

The clearing price says what the next unit of electricity was worth in that interval at that place. It does not hold the energy, and when the interval ends, the cheap or expensive hour is gone unless some physical device stored energy during it. The opening covers price names one interval, storage needs a device, and losses sit on the round trip.

The rest of the brief — the later sections and the reading notes — opens after Stripe confirms payment.
