Why clamp pressure matters

Clamps close a joint so the glue stays a thin film instead of a gap or a dry spot.

When the purchase is complete, return to the original window. It will refresh.

From the opening

Clamp pressure pulls two glued faces together and holds them still while the adhesive sets. That pressure is what turns a layer of glue into a thin continuous film, or, if it is wrong, into a gap, a puddle, or a joint squeezed dry. The opening covers pressure closes the glue film, too little leaves a thick line, and too much can squeeze it dry.

The rest of the brief — the later sections and the reading notes — opens after Stripe confirms payment.
