How fabric is a structure not a picture

Cloth is an arrangement of yarns or fibers, and the print is only what sits on that machine.

When the purchase is complete, return to the original window. It will refresh.

From the opening

Fabric is a structure of fibers spun into yarn and then interlaced, looped, or matted. The picture on a shirt is secondary, and what the cloth can do comes from how the yarns are arranged and from what the fibers are. The opening covers weave is an over-under grid, knit is a chain of loops, and felt is a locked mat of fibers.

The rest of the brief — the later sections and the reading notes — opens after Stripe confirms payment.
